Download Youtube Videos On Android

If you've ever wanted to download YouTube videos on Android, a third party application which isn't on the Google Play store will help you do just that. While I was away I had limited internet access, so when I could access to internet I downloaded videos on the go.

This handy little android application which will help you to download youtube videos on android is called "Tubemate." Their official site is tubemate.net where you must download and install the application. Since Google owns YouTube and they don't like YouTube downloaders, they won't accept TubeMate onto the Google Play Store.

Tubemate, once installed brings up a menu page where you can access the YouTube homepage or go straight to a YouTube channel. Tubemate emulates the android browser inside it's application, which is handy because it loads YouTube's mobile site. To download youtube videos on android, you simply click on a YouTube video you want to download and then wait. Once the page has loaded, you click the green download button to begin to download Youtube videos on Android!

You can download in many video resolutions. 240p still looks great on the HTC Wildfire S and the file sizes are super tiny! 30 Minutes of video only takes up about 50mb. I hope this has helped you to download Youtube videos on Android.
